Super Duty MOD1 Rifle, 16", 5.56MM- Luna Black

The Super Duty Mod1 Rifle improves upon the renowned Geissele Super Duty with the addition of a HUXWRX Flash Hider-QD 556 suppressor-ready muzzle device, an updated MK16 Super Modular Rail with press-fit stainless steel Quick Disconnect (QD) inserts, an A17 Grip that presents a more ergonomic grip angle, and a QD Sling Mount Endplate. The SD Mod1 updates several key components that ensure this high-end rifle will continue to offer the user unmatched accuracy, comfort, and performance.

Geissele provides the latest in weapon technology available. This 16” rifle chambered in 5.56mm features a HUXWRX Flash Hider-QD muzzle device mounted to an in-house 16” Manganese Phosphate coated, Cold Hammer Forged, Chrome Lined, 1-7 twist barrel. Geissele barrels are High-Pressure Tested (HPT) and Magnetic Particle Inspected (MPI). The Geissele length gas system and Geissele Super Compact Gas Block (with bomb-proof installation) ensure reliability and optimal performance in extreme conditions and heavy use.

The SSA-E X with Lightning Bow® trigger is precision-built with a nanocoated, two-stage design, balancing the feel of an M4 and flat-body trigger. At its core is the Geissele Reliability Enhanced BCG, featuring a nanocoated, chrome-lined gas key and H13 tool steel cam pin for durability. Extended rails improve stability and feeding. The Stressproof Bolt, made from Carpenter 158+, outlasts mil-spec bolts by 5x, with optimized grain structure, rigorous testing, and Nanoweapon coating for unmatched reliability.

The Super Duty lower, machined from 7075-T6 aluminum, includes Geissele’s Ultra Duty Parts Kit, Ambidextrous Configurable Safety, and Super-42 H2 buffer. The 15” MK16 Modular Rail, secured with a center-aligning tab, offers field-proven performance. An Airborne Charging Handle ensures smooth operation, while the QD Sling Mount Endplate adds sling compatibility. Completed with a B5 Systems Sopmod Stock, this rifle delivers exceptional performance and precision.
