The MR-P and XR-P feature a compact steel compensator that extends the pistol by only ½ inch, ensuring compatibility with standard G17 holsters. Using the patent-pending QD attachment system from the CR-P, this design simplifies maintenance and complies with regulations banning threaded barrels.

Instead of a traditional threaded barrel, Shadow Systems developed a proprietary 3-lug muzzle paired with a centrally located locking lever, offering secure, tool-less attachment and reliable performance.
